What Three Business plans include

We supply Three Business plans for sole traders through to large teams. Across the range, Three Business gives you:

• 5G-ready SIMs. Use 5G wherever Three has 5G coverage and your device supports it. Any Three SIM, including an eSIM, supports 5G in a 5G-compatible device.
• Unlimited UK calls and texts on voice plans. Inclusive minutes and texts cover calls and texts to UK mobiles and UK landlines starting 01, 02 or 03.
• Data from 3GB up to unlimited. Three Business SIM Only voice plans come with Unlimited Data, 500GB, 80GB, 25GB or 3GB.
• Personal Hotspot. Voice plans include Personal Hotspot in the UK, so a laptop or tablet can share the phone's data allowance.
• eSIM on every plan. All Three Business plans are eSIM compatible, so you can choose an eSIM for any device that supports it.
• Spend Caps. Set a cap on each user's out-of-bundle spending, such as premium-rate numbers, international calls and roaming, and change it whenever you need to.
• VAT invoices and one account. VAT invoices come as standard, and you manage multiple SIMs under one account, online or in the Three app.

The Three network: 4G coverage and 5G

Three's 4G network covers 99% of the UK population (outdoor coverage), and Three Business SIMs are 5G-ready, so your team can use 5G wherever Three has 5G coverage and their devices support it.

Signal inside a building depends on its walls and windows, the location and the device, so it pays to check the places your people actually work. Three's business coverage checker shows 4G and 5G at any postcode, and where 5G is shown as available you can, in most cases, use it for mobile internet, calls and texts. Three has switched off its 3G network, so phones need to be 4G compatible for data and support 4G Calling (also called VoLTE) for calls. If your fleet includes older phones, card machines or alarm diallers, tell us and we can help you plan replacements as part of the move.

Three Business Dynamic for growing teams

Three Business Dynamic is a multi-connection plan that gives every user unlimited minutes, texts and UK data. It comes in seven sizes, from Dynamic 25 to Dynamic 250, each allowing up to that number of connections, on a 24-month minimum term.

Every Dynamic plan includes Go Roam in Europe, so users can take their allowance to Go Roam in Europe destinations, and Three Analyst bill analytics: Standard on Dynamic 25 and Advanced on Dynamic 50 to 250. That makes Dynamic a strong fit for teams that want everyone on the same unlimited plan, with usage reporting built in.

Working abroad with Go Roam

When your team works abroad, Three Business lets them use their allowances in over 160 Go Roam destinations, grouped into three bands: Go Roam in Europe, Go Roam Around the World and Go Roam Around the World Extra. Unless a plan includes roaming, a daily charge unlocks the UK allowance in a Go Roam destination, and roaming in the Republic of Ireland and the Isle of Man is excluded from the daily charge.

For staff who travel often, a 24-month unlimited UK data plan can include roaming on just the SIMs that need it, with Go Roam in Europe (49 destinations) or Go Roam Around the World Extra (163 destinations, including the 49 in Europe). Three Analyst, Three Device Management and Three Mobile Protect

Three Business groups its account and security tools as security and device services:

• Three Analyst. Three's online bill analytics tool for billed usage and spend, with reports you can customise, save and export. Standard gives an overview; Advanced adds user-level analytics.
• Three Mobile Protect. Mobile security powered by Corrata for up to 25 Android and iOS devices: protection against phishing and malware, data caps and controls on non-work apps and content.
• Three Device Management. Cloud-based mobile device management powered by Ivanti for businesses with more than 25 devices: onboard devices, install apps, configure settings and control access to business data from one platform.

Data SIMs and broadband

Three Business covers more than phone SIMs. For the phones themselves, we focus on getting the airtime right so you can buy devices separately; see mobile phones for business for help choosing them.

• Data only SIMs. Unlimited, 500GB and 80GB data on 24-month plans, as an eSIM or a physical SIM, for tablets, laptops and routers. See Three Business data SIMs.
• Mobile Broadband (MiFi). A portable hub that connects up to 32 devices on unlimited data over 4G and 5G, with up to 8 hours in use.
• 5G Business Broadband. Internet for your premises over Three's 5G network, with no landline or engineer: insert the SIM in the hub and plug it in. See Three Business mobile broadband.

Switching to Three Business and keeping your numbers

You can bring your existing numbers to Three Business with a PAC, or take new Three Business numbers. Three's switching process works like this:

1. Text PAC to 65075 from each number you want to keep. The code is free, usually arrives within 60 seconds and lasts 30 days. Businesses with several numbers may need to ask their current provider for the codes directly.
2. Give us the codes with your order and choose a switch date, up to 30 days ahead.
3. Three says the quickest switch is within 1 working day (2 if the request is after 5pm, at a weekend or on a bank holiday). On switch day the old SIM loses signal and the new one takes over, which can take until midnight.
4. Set up eSIMs, device enrolment and your MDM so new phones are ready when they arrive.
